What I Believe
I believe in the one true and living God.
I believe in the unity of the Godhead where there are three persons--God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost.
I believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.
He was virgin born, lived a sinless life, suffered and died for this sin of the world and now sits at the right hand of God.
I believe the Bible to be the Word of God.
It is the only verbally inspired word of God, inerrant in the original writings, and they are our supreme and final authority in faith and practice.
I believe man was created in the image of God.
Man sinned and thereby incurred a depraved nature which resulted not only in a physical death but a spiritual death as well.
I believe in a literal Heaven and Hell.
Heaven is a place for the saved that will last for eternity in a conscious state of blessedness and hell is a literal place for the unsaved that will last for eternity in a conscious state of torment.
I believe salvation is totally by grace.
Salvation is the free gift of God that comes by grace alone, through faith alone in the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary.
I believe the imminent return of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior for His Church.
I believe believers should follow the Lord in believers baptism and join a Bible-believing church for the purpose of reaching this world for Jesus Christ.
